Effectively ending the GOPs seven year quest to can the Affordable Care Act. Every Senate Democrat voted against the bill, and three no's from the Republicans side were enough to sink it. They came from senator's Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and recently returned John McCain. All of them crossing party lines to kill the so called the skinny repeal.
A slim eight page measure in the triggering discussion on replacing ObamaCare>> So yes, this is a disappointment. A disappointment indeed>> It's a stinging loss for Trump who hasn't been able to land a major legislative win in this first six months in office. The president took to twitter soon after the vote saying 3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down.
