>> As dawn breaks in central Italy, firefighters get their first look at the damage from a series of quakes Wednesday evening. A 15th century church lies in ruin near the village of Campi, rubble strewn through the streets. The largest of the three quakes, magnitude 6.1, toppled buildings and sent people running from their houses, just two months after a deadly tremor laid waste to the region.
Then nearly 300 people died, this time there appears not to have been no casualties and just four serious injuries.>>
