>> Manchester United calling off its premiere league match against Bournemouth Sunday after a suspicious package was found at Old Trafford Stadium. Officials evacuating tens of thousands of fans just 20 minutes before kick off. Manchester police carried out a controlled explosion using bomb disposal experts. Turns out the device wasn't a real threat, they said, but it did bear an incredibly lifelike resemblance to a real explosive device.
>> It was kind of a bit unnerving, cuz we didn't know what was happening. And we made it out, so better safe than sorry.>> They probably could have done it a bit earlier, but as a whole once we did get the notification it was a smooth transition to come out.
>> The club saying in a statement that the decision to evacuate was a last resort defending its efforts to protect the safety of fans and employees. The match has been rescheduled for Tuesday.
