]>> On the job, Mr. President?>> He's here, Rex is here.>> After clashing with him repeatedly, President Donald Trump is apparently ready to get rid of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. A top White House source tells Reuters he intends to replace Tillerson with CIA Director Mike Pompeo.
The New York Times on Thursday said Chief of Staff John Kelly has already created the replacement plan and shared it with other officials. And the shake up should happen around the new year. The Times said that the scenario also includes replacing Pompeo with GOP Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton.
Tillerson has locked horns with Trump on a range of policy issues like North Korea, and he's drawn heavy criticism for planning deep staffing cuts to the State Department.
