>> Bad news for boxing's most divisive character, British world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury facing a doping charge from the UK Anti-Doping agency.
>> UKAD releasing a statement on Wednesday confirming Fury had been charged with the presence of a prohibited substance and subsequently suspended but he wasn't alone. The Gypsyking's cousin Hughie Fury a fellow boxer himself has also been judged, both denied the claims. Team Fury taking to social media to show indignation, promising to take it to the high court.
The 27 year old boxer is known for his strong political views and inflamed remarks. Shortly before winning the world title in 2015, Fury publicly stated he thought performance enhancing drugs should be permitted in all sports. Claiming that if quote, everybody took drugs then it would be fully fair.
He suffered a huge public backlash after making public his views on homosexuality, comparing it with pedophilia and rape. He was also accused of anti-semitism. Now, Fury is in the middle of another public backlash with fans taking to Twitter disappointed with the charges. Fury announced that he was pulling out of a rematch with Vitali Klitschko on the same day he was court with the alleged substances saying he had injured his ankle while training.
