>> Hello, everybody.>> Members of Hillary Clinton's team are pointing the finger squarely at Russia after more than 19,000 internal Democratic emails were leaked over the weekend. The emails showed Democratic party officials appearing to favor Hillary Clinton over her rival, Bernie Sanders. And the revelation went off like a bomb on the eve of the Democratic Party Convention.
Clinton Campaign Manager, Robby Mook, on Sunday, saying the source of the emails was likely Moscow, suggesting Russian President, Vladimir Putin, may be intentionally meddling in the US election.>> Russian state actors were feeding the emails to hackers for the purpose of helping Donald Trump.>> The Democratic National Committee announced weeks ago that its servers had been hacked, likely by Russian state espionage.
The Clinton allegation is that Moscow is now using that information to strategically sow discord, undercut Hillary Clinton, and potentially help Donald Trump win the US election. Trump and Putin have both praised each other. Trump campaign manager, Paul Manafort, previously worked for Ukrainian politicians with close ties to the Kremlin.
Manafort on Monday said, by pointing the finger at Russia, the Clinton camp is merely trying to distract from the content of the DNC emails.>> Thank you very much.
