>> A night heavy on symbolism at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, from show of party unity->> That Hillary Clinton be selected as the nominee of the Democratic party.
SOUND]>>
To the shattering of a glass ceiling, as the party officially nominated Hillary Clinton as candidate for president.

The evening's choreography nearly seamless compared with the disunity on display the night before, when outraged Sanders supporters booed and heckled throughout the night. It was not drama free, after Clinton's official nomination hundreds of Sander's supporters decamped the Wells Fargo Arena and marched across the street where they staged a silent protest inside a media tent.

But the protest was short lived. Many returned to the mothers of African Americans killed by police, and other victims of gun violence. The night focused on topics and general consensus for Democrats, health care, abortion rights, and equal pay. But, the evening had another goal. The re introduction of Hillary Clinton to America a task that fell to her husband Bill.

You would say, this woman has never been satisfied with the status quo in anything. She always wants to move the ball forward, that is just who she is.>> He never once mentioned her Republican rival Donald Trump by name. The Democrats may have a way to go before they can claim to be fully united behind Hillary Clinton, but Tuesday they appeared to have steps towards getting their image under control
