>> Frustration for channel hoppers this weekend. Eurostar services disrupted as staff begin the first in a series of strikes. Train managers walking out for four days in a dispute over their work life balance. Unions arguing schedules include too many unsocial hours. Despite the action, Eurostar says most services will still run on the line linking Britain to continental Europe.
With only a few cancellations expected. This strike which began early on Friday is the first of two walk outs planned for this month by Britain's RMT union. A second stoppage is later to take place on a bank holiday weekend at the end of August. It's a time when many British families traditionally have a final getaway before school starts.
If you're in London right now, the easiest things might be to stay there.
