>> It's a big day for French presidential candidates. The deadline to submit the last of their 500 sponsors needed to get their names on the ballot paper. But according to an opinion poll out today, three-quarters of French voters want the conservative candidate François Fillon to pull out of the presidential race.

> Fillon who was the prime minister between 2007 and 2012 was placed under formal investigation after he was suspected of misusing public funds. Allegations had surfaced to suggest he paid his wife and children hundreds of thousands of euros of taxpayers' money for jobs that were nonexistent.

And on Thursday, one judicial source said that fraud investigation had been widened to include two luxury suits Fillon received worth a combined 13,000 euros. Fillon denies any wrongdoing, insisting they were from a friend, but the inquiry will look at whether this broke electoral rules on donations. Once a front runner in the French presidential election, the 63 year old candidate has steadily lost ground to his main rivals that include far right leader Marine Le Pen.

There are projections that he'll be eliminated in the first round of voting on April, 23rd. This morning's polls showed nearly nine voters out of every ten, think Fillon is dishonest. And about three-quarters of them saying, he's neither convincing nor close to their concerns.
