SOUND] A
blockade over migrants. Port workers, lorry drivers, and farmers brought traffic to a standstill on a motorway in Calle leading to the channel tunnel demanding the migrant camp, dubbed the Jungle, be closed once and for all.>> We are here because we need some radical change.
00:00:22
This government has been fooling us off a year, year and a half, even more without doing anything.>> We’re suffering too much from the impact of this migration. We're not against them, we understand the human tragedy that they're going through. But at the same time we need to be able to work and go to work normally.

>> The squalid camp is a half way house for thousands of migrants fleeing war, poverty, and oppression. Locals say the camp is violent and destroying the economy.
00:01:04
Often it's the migrants themselves disrupting traffic on these roads hoping to stow aboard trucks. This time it's the drivers fed up with navigating the crisis.
