>> Philadelphia police on Saturday naming the gunman who went on a deadly shooting rampage the night before. One person is dead and five are injured after 25 year old Nicholas Glenn went on a shooting spree. A note found at the scene suggests police were his target.>> That letter that he has has a bunch of rambling which indicates his hatred for police officers and probation officers.
00:00:23
>> Glenn first opened fire on a female police sergeant sitting in a cruiser, then shot another four civilians as he fled. He then shot a University of Pennsylvania security guard. Police confronted Glenn in an alley, where he was killed.>> We do believe it is isolated to this individual.
00:00:37
We have no reason to believe, at this point, there's anyone else involved.>> One of the civilians has since died of injuries. The police officer shot is expected to recover.>> I just wanna say to all our police officers, thank you for what you do for us every day.
00:00:50
And please, please, please, every shift, please wear your vests, please wear your vests. They will safe your life, as we saw tonight.>> Also, Friday night, two officers in Forth Worth, Texas were shot and injured after they responded to a suicide call. A man in a shed behind the house opened fire.

Officers returned fire, the suspect was found dead. The Philadelphia gunman's ammo strikingly similar to another attack on an officer in that same city in January. Friday's attacks on police come after fatal attacks on cops in Houston and Baton Rouge this summer. The gunmen in those cases said they were seeking revenge for the deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of police.
