rth Korea has fired a ballistic missile from a submarine on Saturday, Northeast East of the Korean Peninsula according to South Korea's military. Local news reporting the missile exploded mid-ear shortly after it's launch. The United States, South Korea and neighboring Japan unanimous in their condemnation. The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe calling it a clear challenge to UN Security Council resolutions, but says it doesn't gravely effect Japan's security.
The launch comes a day after the US and South Korea announced plans to deploy an advanced anti-missile system. Washington has blacklisted the state's leader, Kim Jong-Un, for alleged human rights abuses. North Korea warning it's planning its toughest response to what it calls a declaration of war by the United States.
