this legislation has one goal and the goal is to save lives after contentious debate we believed in life we would have the death penalty interruptions , a legislator in Alabama argued Missouri's Republican led house on Friday passed a bill banning abortions at eight weeks of pregnancy just days after Alabama's governor signed the nation's most restrictive abortion bill into law Reuters Dan Trotta Missouri is one of fifteen states that have introduced similar bills this year either harpy bills are in the case of Missouri it's an eight week bill those are in addition to Alabama so you've seen now sixteen states this year alone pushing very strict anti abortion bills it's part of the strategy a full court press strategy by the anti abortion side to get this advanced anywhere they can't they see momentum on their side with senators and and representatives who voted for know full well that they are violating roe V. Wade and but they want to violate roe V. Wade in order to get the issue before a judge the bill's approval in the Missouri house and Senate is the latest example of anti abortion legislation passed by state lawmakers who feel emboldened by Republican appointees to the US Supreme Court just like the Alabama bell miseries would outlaw abortion even in cases of rape or incest and includes jail time for doctors who violate the eight week cut off the measure also plans for a future where roe V.
