o breached the ceasefire that was Yemen's first breakthrough in years? Warring parties have traded accusations over shelling reported in the city of Hodeidah on Tuesday after a truce came into force. Undeterred, the United Nations is bringing the Iran aligned Houthis. And the Saudi backed government together by video link Wednesday, to talk about pulling their troops out of the port city, which is Yemen's main entry for aid and imports, and a lifeline for millions.

Residents reported shelling for nearly an hour on the outskirts late Tuesday. A Houthi-run TV channel accused Saudi led coalition forces of shelling several sites including around the airport. And fears after coalition-backed forces amassed on its outskirts to try to seize it from the Houthis, raising the prospect that supplies could be cut to some 16 million people. Yemen is already host to the world's worst humanitarian crisis and on the brink of famine. The truce to avert the Hodeidah assault is the first significant breakthrough in five years and there are hopes it's a step on the road to ending the war.
