>> A Georgia man has been arrested for allegedly plotting a bomb attack on the White House and other government buildings in Washington. US Attorney for the northern district of Georgia, BJ Pak, told reporters in Atlanta on Wednesday that the FBI had arrested 21 year old, Hasher Taheb, of Cumming, Georgia.
>> His alleged intent was to attack the White House and other targets of opportunity in the Washington D.C. area by using explosive devices, including an improvised explosive device, an anti-tank rocket.>> Local media, citing the Federal complaint, said investigators were tipped off by a community member in March of last year, who said Taheb had become radicalized.
Reports said Taheb was taken into custody in a sting operation after he accepted weapons in exchange for his car. Officials say they believe the suspect was acting alone.
