COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 2

In the last three years, especially last year after the horrible military coup attempt, Turkey's democracy is shrinking. The government is cutting free speech. There are 40 Newspapers in Turkey, 12 of which are controlled by the government and the journalists in the last two opposing newspapers mostly end up in jail.
There is almost no free speech unfortunately in Turkey. I'm upset by that fact that Turkey is moving away from European values, European union. And Turkish history had taught me that if we move away from Europe, free speech disappears. Rights of individuals, rights of minorities, full democracy, if we continue to move away from Europe, we'll shrink and shrink and disappear.
