Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi vowing she and her colleagues will press on until Republicans take up votes on gun control measures, in the wake of the Orlando shooting.
But as you can see the House chamber a quiet one. Quite the opposite of what it looked like late Wednesday, when several Republicans charged the floor yelling at protesting Democrats and prompting a chaotic scene that nearly ended in fisticuffs. Ryan then forcing through unrelated measures with some Democrats continuing to protest by singing the civil rights anthem, We Shall Overcome.
The speaker finally adjourning the house around 3 a.m. Thursday and saying there will be no more votes until after the July 4th holiday. With the house cameras shut at Ryan's insistence, some democrats turning to social media to prolong the protest. Using the hashtag #NoBillNoBreak. Maxine Waters on Periscope.
