>> The man accused of murdering British MP Jo Cox will face trial in November. 52 year old Thomas Mair appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from prison on Thursday. Cox's constituents paying tribute to the MP the same morning, one week after her murder. The mother of two was shot and stabbed to death as she arrived for a meeting with residents.
The 77 year old man who came to her aide was also stabbed. Mair is charged with murder, possession of a gun and a knife, and causing grievous bodily harm. At an earlier hearing, he said his aim was Death to Traitors, Freedom for Britain. The case is being treated as a terrorist trial.
The date is set for 14th of November, with a plea hearing penciled for the 4th of October.
