>> Three people arrested with an arsenal of weapons trying to enter New York City Tuesday morning. Authorities say two men in their fifties and a woman in her twenties were pulled over just before 8 AM at a toll plaza near the Holland Tunnel for driving with a cracked windshield.
Police found several rifles and handguns, some of which were loaded in their vehicle. According to local media, ballistics vests, a camouflage helmet, and what appeared to be night vision goggles were also found. A spokesman for the FBI said counter-terrorism agents were not involved in the investigation because the group did not have a quote terrorism nexus.
Officials reportedly calling them gun enthusiasts. Law enforcement has been on high alert since a gunman killed 49 people at a gay night club in Orlando last week. The three on Tuesday were stopped on the New Jersey side of the tunnel, though it was not immediately clear where they were heading.
