>> The area around the worst mass shooting in US history remains almost entirely on lockdown. I'm Letitia Stein with Reuters in Orlando where we just learned from authorities that nearly all, if not all of the victims, have been identified. That is 49 people killed, and the shooter as well, making 50.

Authorities said that their main goal today is to try to notify next-of-kin so they could release names to the public, of who these people were who lost their lives on a night when they had gone intending to simply dance and have a good time. And somebody that authorities are now saying, in an act of terrorism and a hate crime, gunned them down.

Authorities said they had removed all of the dead from the nightclub, working into the night to do so. However, the area around Pulse club remained a very active crime scene on Monday morning, heavily barricaded and a lot of activity going on. Authorities also told us that they are investigating, widely, whether or not there were others involved.

However, they could not say if anybody else was going to be charged. They did, however, say that they did not believe there was any immediate threat to the public. And also that they did not think there was an accomplice involved inside the nightclub during that fatal evening.
