Mateen was killed by a police after a three-hour standoff on Sunday. He called 911 to pledge allegiance to various Islamist Militant groups. However, investigators say, there's no evidence he got help from groups like Islamic State and was likely self radicalized through the internet. Mateen's former wife says, he was mentally unstable, beat her, and then she had to flee their home after four months of marriage.
