>> The world's biggest advertising company WPP is investigating an allegation of personal misconduct against its own chief executive, Martin Sorrell. Sorrell, who build the company over three decades, has denied wrongdoing and said the allegation against him concerns financial and propriety. Specifically, the misuse of company funds. WPP says the amounts involved are not material to the business.
It's understood to have engaged a law firm to investigate the matter. Shares in the British company, which are already 36% down over the past year, fell to new lows early on Wednesday.
