The producer Jeffrey Solis called me about an hour and a half before Wood curtain and said that this is something that we thought we wanted to do, and asked me if I'd be willing to do it. For me, I think the most important thing with respect to all of the emotions that everybody's feeling after the selection is to make sure that people recognize that we are not alone.

We are here together and we need to listen to one another, and speak with one another. Those of us who feel like maybe their voice hasn't marginalized or might become marginalized need is important that they recognize that there are allies all over the place. Harassment, or rather conversation is not harassment.
