London's Evening Standard newspaper says he's being held on suspicion of manslaughter. It says police are investigating whether he fell asleep at the wheel. The accident happened on a sharp curve, with a 20 kilometers per hour speed limit. Rail accident investigators say there are signs that tram was going much faster that than that.
