>> At least one person's been killed after a man plowed his car into two separate bus stops across the French city of Marseilles. The unidentified driver in custody according to police. This video from social media showing soldiers deployed after the 35-year-old hit one bus stop at the height of rush hour, before driving across the city to hit another an hour later.
Police are not treating it as a militant attack, with the driver known to them from minor crimes and psychological issues. But the incident's folded into the state of emergency France has been under since 2015, as Europe grapples with the wave of attacks motivated by Islamist insurgencies. Many of them have used vehicles as there weapons, most recently in attacks in Spain, days ago, that killed 15 people.
