>> A Turkish school bus under water after plunging into a canal late on Sunday. Local media reporting 14 people dead. At least six of them children, 26 others injured. The bus was reportedly taking students home, after a weekend trip to a national park near the southern province of Osmaniye.

Media report that the bus collided with a car at an intersection before rolling into the canal. Firefighters working into the night to winch out the bus, as children were comforted, and the injured rushed to hospital. It's not clear how many people were on the bus when it crashed.
