>> Two people dead at the UCLA campus Wednesday in what police are calling a murder suicide. The campus was initially put on lockdown for two hours as officers secured the area.>> We believe there are no suspects outstanding and no continuing threat to UCLA's campus.>> The police response was massive with at least three city blocks leading into the campus filled with dozens of emergency vehicles.
Reuters correspondent Alex Dobuzinskis was at the scene.>> The whole thing unfolded with a campus wide alert letting people know that there was an active shooter and that it was occurring in this engineering building behind me. Now I've spoken to a couple researchers who were in an office room in that building and they received these alerts on their emails.
And they stayed in their locked room until officers with rifles came in and escorted them out.>> Footage shows students evacuating buildings, some frisked by police before being moved to safety.>> I'm still shaking. There is not much else you can do. We were just scared that someone might break through that door and shoot us.
>> These pictures obtained by a UCLA student from CCTV footage showed police securing the halls inside campus buildings. Police say both victims were males but have not released any further details on their identity.
