>> Speculations swirling over the cause of the disappearance of EgyptAir flight MS804. A US review of satellite imagery so far has not produced any signs of an explosion, but Egypt's Aviation Minister suggesting the crash was more likely intentional.>> The situation may point, and I say may because I don't want to go to speculations and I don't want to go to assumptions like others but if you analyze the situation properly the possibility of having a different action or having a terror attack is higher.

>> The plane left Paris at 11:09 local time, Wednesday night. It was supposed to arrive in Cairo around four hours later. But as it approached the Egyptian coastline, it swerved in mid-air before plunging and vanishing from radar. It's last contact was with Greek air traffic controllers and flight data showing something suddenly went drastically wrong.

Reuters correspondent Lin Noueihed is in Cairo.>> It was a fairly tragic scene at Cairo international airport today. The families of the passengers and crew were gathered there for most of the day waiting for news. However, very little information came out. Some have been taken to hospital suffering from anxiety.

It's not clear how long it will take to find out what's happened to their loved ones.>> On board flight MS804 were 66 passengers and crew, among them 30 Egyptians, 15 French nationals, 1 Britain and 1 Belgian. As for the debris spotted in the search, officials said, later on Thursday, that it was not connected to the Egyptian Air flight.

Thursday's crash follows several security lapses. Including a Russian Metrojet Airbus that crashed after taking off from Egypt last year. The cause still disputed. But Russian and Western governments believe a bomb brought the plane down. Then in March, an EgyptAir plane heading to Cairo was hijacked and diverted to Cypress.

All passengers and crew were unhurt. MS804 had sent an emergency signal but two hours after it disappeared. Suggesting it could have come from a locator beacon that activates when a plane is submerged in water.
