Much of the focus of missing flight MS 804 is on the destination, but Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris where the plane took off is part of this story. France is still under a state of emergency after Islamist militants killed 130 people in Paris last November. We may not know what happened to flight MS 804, but we do know a forensic examination of staff and passenger movements at the airport is likely already under way
