>> Gloria Williams entered a Florida courtroom on Monday to plead guilty to abducting a newborn from a Jacksonville hospital 20 years ago. As part of the plea deal Williams faces anywhere from 0-22 years on the kidnapping and interference with custody charges. Had she been found guilty at trial the 52-year-old could have been sentenced to life in prison.
Williams was arrested last year for kidnapping Kamiyah Mobley back in 1998 from what was then known as University Hospital. The newborn was only hours old when Williams, dressed as a nurse in a flowered smock and green hospital pants abducted her from her mother's room. An initial search for the baby led nowhere, meanwhile Williams raised the child as her own, naming her Alexis Manigo.
The teen, who is now 19 years old was located in South Carolina last year unharmed. After thousands of tips on the case poured in to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Neither the teen nor her birth parents were in court for the proceedings. Williams will be sentenced in May.
