>> One person has been killed at a nightclub shooting in Germany. A 34-year-old man opened fire at the venue on Sunday morning, seriously injuring another three. The attack happened in the southern German city of Konstanz shortly after 2:30 AM local time. Police say the suspect was an Iraqi citizen who'd lived in the country for a long time and was not an asylum seeker.
They ruled out terrorism as a motive and added that a dispute amongst criminals may have led to the shooting in the industrial area of the city. The gunman was fatally wounded in a gunfight with police officers outside the music venue, and he later died in hospital. The motive for the shooting is unclear, one police officer was also injured in the exchange of fire, special commando forces have been deployed in the city.
