>> A four story building reduced to rubble, killing at least eight people. Many more are feared trapped after this building in Mumbai collapsed. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing in the Indian city, with local authorities saying as many as 20 people could be buried in the ruins.
They say more than a dozen people have so far been rescued, the ground floor is believed to be in vacant, but three or four families are thought to have occupied each of the remaining floors. Bulldozers aided emergency crews at the scene, sifting through the remnants of the 40 year old structure.
This incident in the east of the city, comes after a spate of building collapses in 2013 plagued Mumbai. Then 145 people were killed in three separate instants.
