The officer attempted to remove an object from his mouth or throat.>> Move!>> Friday's protests began peacefully but the mood turned as those gathered began smashing shop windows, hurling bottles and lighting small fires. The BBC reported that some protesters carried placards which said Black lives matter. Police in riot gear and some on horseback were called in to help clear the area.
They confirmed on Saturday that they've made some arrests. An independent police complaints agency is investigating the incidents that led to Charles's death.
