>> A morning commute ending in disaster when a passenger train in Spain collided with a railway buffer on Friday injuring at least 54 people. It happened in Barcelona's Francia station, one of the city's busiest transport hubs. The driver is among the wounded according to emergency services, 20 were hospitalized, some with serious injuries.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the rush hour clash, or how fast the train was going, but it shredded the front of the lead car. Many of the passengers were standing ready to exit the train when it happened according to local media. Streets around the station were closed to allow emergency workers faster access.
