mt just five months after a deadly Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia there's been another accident an Amtrak train bound for Washington DC running off the tractor Vermont Monday with some of its cars flipping over into an embankment early indications according to an Amtrak bloggers that the train hit a rock slide on the tracks and there are no cases of life threatening injuries so far Vermont governor Peter Shumlin early morning right here there's no reason at this time to leave , obviously , all the details , I think that's why I think this is the second accident left in six months on Amtrak very lucrative Northeast Corridor eight people were killed and more than two hundred people were injured in may when a train traveling at twice the speed limit jumped the tracks while turning a sharp curve
