>> Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones will be banned from all flights in the US starting Saturday, after numerous reports of the devices catching fire. The FAA issued an emergency order barring travellers from even storing those devices in checked luggage during flights. The agency adding that anyone caught trying to sneak a Note 7 on board could face fines and criminal prosecution.
The world's largest phone maker this week expanding a US recall of the fire prone model to a total of 1.9 million Note 7 phones.
