Isn't actually playing all that well in Arizona, ground zero for the immigration debate. In fact, 47% of Arizonans call the border wall a quote, waste of money, while only 34% an effective barrier. Certainly not the response Trump wants or needs. Ginger Gibson is following the story.>> When Trump talks about the problems with illegal immigration and talks about building a border wall.
One would think that the communities most directly affected by border crossings would find that appealing. Or at least more appealing than the rest of the nation that doesn't share a border with Mexico. But what we found was that those people in Arizona are just as in line with the rest of the nation in thinking that it's more likely to be a waste.
>> Arizona has voted Republican in all but one election since 1952. But, with a rising share of Hispanic voters, polls show it's in play for Trump's rival, Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump has a very narrow path and that path includes Arizona. If he loses Arizona, the election's over.>> If Clinton does snatch Arizona from Trump, she would be the first Democrat to win the state since her husband, Bill, in 1996.
