>> Targeted for a third time. An American admiral says a missile attack launched from the coast of Yemen was aimed at this US Navy destroyer. The USS Mason, pictured here in archive footage, fired upon in the Red Sea, twice in the past week already. The missiles coming from territory in Yemen controlled by Iranian allied Houthi rebels.
The latest incident just two days after the US launched cruise missiles against sites held by the Houthis. Fired in response to the earlier failed missile attacks on the Mason. It marks Washington's first direct military intervention in Yemen since the start of the conflict early last year. In Sanaa, an attack hits closer to home.
Mourners at a funeral were targeted last week by the Saudi led coalition. The UN says 140 were killed thousands gathering to grieve for the mourners now. A Saudi investigation has found the attack was based on incorrect information. The coalition had learned that armed Houthi leaders were in the area, instead they killed mostly politicians and civilians.
The coalition said in a statement that it expresses it's regret. The air strike now threatening to escalate the civil war and pull the US further into the conflict.
