Up to five meters or 16 feet of snow has fallen on the Grand Sasso mountain range in recent days. The tremors started on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reporting it included a 5.7 magnitude quake. The region is still recovering from a deadly earthquake in August that killed hundreds.
