>> An extensive manhunt for a cop killer in Florida ended with the suspect shackled in the handcuffs once carried by the officer he allegedly killed. 41 year old Markeith Lloyd, arrested Tuesday, was wanted in the fatal shooting of Master Sergeant Deborah Clayton in Orlando on January 9th. Footage of Lloyd's arrest arrest shows him being hustled into police headquarters by officers, some of them masked.
As Lloyd passes by reporters he shouts they beat me up.>> They beat me up.>> Lloyd where have you been hiding?>> They beat me up.>> Another video recorded outside the police department shows Lloyd with a bloody face and swollen eyes. Authority say Lloyd resisted arrest when he was found at an abandoned home in Orlando.
Covered in body armor and carrying two guns.>> He did resist arrest, he does have some facial injuries, and Lieutenant Deborah Clayton's handcuffs were placed on him.>> Police were originally hunting for him in connection to the death of his pregnant X girlfriend. Lieutenant Clayton spotted him in the parking lot of a Walmart and approached him.
That's when she was shot. During the manhunt that ensued after Clayton's death, another officer was killed in a traffic accident. Lloyd faces a slew of charges, including two counts of first degree homicide.
