>> Former US president, George HW Bush moved to an intensive care unit Wednesday at a Houston hospital where he's being treated for pneumonia. His wife, former First Lady, Barbara Bush admitted to the same hospital, the same day, a precaution, as she was experiencing fatigue and coughing.

And he had told the president-elect in a letter last week that he and Barbara would be there in spirit.

During his presidential campaign, Trump often attacked Bush's son, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. Criticizing his positions on immigration and common core and labeling him as low energy. 43rd President George W Bush is still expected to attend Trump's swearing in. Bush Senior has used a wheelchair in recent years and was brought to the hospital twice in 2014 for pneumonia and similar breathing difficulties.

He also fell and broke a bone in his neck the year after. The ex-president celebrated his 90th birthday with his skydive, but since then has only made a few public appearances. Once in late 2015 in a wheelchair and a neckbrace to toss the first pitch at a Houston Astros game.

And last month at his presidential library to honor ex-Senator Bob Dole. At 92 years old, George H.W. Bush is the nation's oldest living president, born three and a half months before Jimmy Carter.
