But on Friday, 18 years later, she was found safe in Walterborough, South Carolina after a DNA test confirmed her true identity.>> We found an 18 year old young woman with the same date of birth, but a different name.
So further investigation revealed that fraudulent documents had been used to establish that young woman's identify. In interviews with people in Walterborough supported the possibility that this young woman may in fact be.>> Authorities arresting 51 year old Gloria Williams on charges that include kidnapping. According to the 1998 incident report, a woman dressed as a nurse, in a flowered smock and green hospital pants abducted the infant from her mother's room.
>> Without getting to a whole lot of detail, she had an inclination, beginning probably a couple months ago that she may have been involved in this in some way. She has a lot to process. She has a lot to think about, as you can imagine I can't even begin to comprehend it.
>> The Jacksonville Sheriff added that the young woman's biological mother was elated after hearing the news. It'll be up to the victim to initiate contact with her. As for Williams, she will be extradited to Florida, where she faces up to life in prison.
