> And the horror isn't over, yet. Of the 25 firefighters thought to be trapped in the wreckage, at least 20 have been reported dead. The building collapsed after catching fire. Those inside were evacuated while police blocked off surrounding streets.
The firefighters unable to stop the flames spreading. State media reported at least 75 people were injured when the building came crashing down. Many of them were firefighters. Their greatest pain, grief for their colleagues. The massive rubble is still smoldering. Chances of survival are now slim. The tower block known as the Plasco Building was reportedly one of Tehran's oldest.
Iran's president has ordered an investigation to find out how it collapsed.
