>> Iran's ballistic missile test raising tensions with Washington. In his first White House statement as National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn Wednesday accused Iran of violating its nuclear agreement with the United States after testing a ballistic missile.>> President Trump has severely criticized the various agreements reached between Iran and the Obama Administration, as well the United Nations, as being weak and ineffective.
Instead of being thankful to the United States in these agreements, Iran is now feeling emboldened. As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice.>> Iran's Defense Minister saying the test over the weekend isn't a violation of the deal. Because Tehran hasn't carried out any work on missiles designed to delivered nuclear warheads.
But the test poses a challenge to President Donald Trump, who has been a vociferous opponent of the nuclear agreement. This latest flash point feeding into mounting tension over the US travel ban which hits Iran and six other Muslim majority countries. Tehran says it will take legal and political steps to retaliate for the travel ban.
On Wednesday, Iran's president Hassan Rouhani said the ban reveals Washington's true face.>>
They have said for many years that they are against Iran's government but behind its people. Now, they have proved that their statements, which they have been making for years, to be utterly false.>> Whatever happens next, US Iran relations again seems to be headed for a crisis.
