>> A final for the history books. Rodger Federer and Raphael Nadal, one of the greatest rivalries in sports, facing off yet again. This time at the Australian Open. Federer too good, securing a record 18th grand slam title in a titanic battle. The pair has a combined 31 grand slams between them.

And unsurprisingly, the match went down to the wire, battling it out over five sets. Federer fighting back in the fifth set, to snatch a crucial break and take the title. Both players struggled with injuries last year. Federer missed the second half of 2016 with a knee injury. A wrist injury for Nadal forced him to miss Wimbledon.

But they returned to blistering form to make this year's final. That, a true spectacle from two giants of the sport.
