>> FBI officials in California have arrested a man they say was plotting to attack people at the popular Pier 39 in San Francisco, before Christmas. According to the arrest affidavit, 26 year old, Everitt Aaron Jameson told an undercover investigator he wanted to show support for Islamic State and that he would do so by carrying out the attack.
He is accused of outlining a plan to use explosives at the pier and attack people as they fled, according to court papers. A search of the former U.S. Marine Corps member's home in Modesto, California led to several fire arms, as well as a will and testament that said, long live Islamic state.
He was charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization. If convicted, Jameson could face up to 20 years in prison.
