>> The wreckage of a deadly train crash in South Africa. At least a dozen people killed when the train was apparently derailed after hitting a truck at a level crossing. That's according to South African Transport Minister, Joe Maswanganyi.>> You can see for yourself that the truck driver was taking chances.

He thought that he was going to pass through, literally they didn't know that the train was going to hit him. That has costed lots of lives. Emergency services and rail authorities were not immediately able to confirm the circumstances of the crash. The train, traveling from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg, was carrying 700 passengers.

Mr. Maswanganyi said 12 people had been killed and 268 injured, four of them critically. He added that the driver of the truck had survived and police were investigating.
