> A celebration cut short on Friday after a fire broke out in a building in Mumbai. Officials say it left 12 dead and 3 in critical condition. Many of the victims were at a party in a rooftop restaurant when the fire began. Relatives say a 28 year old woman celebrating her birthday was among those who died.
Now firefighters are scrambling to put out the blaze, which began on the top floor of the building, and consumed the entire structure in less than half an hour. The building was located in Kamala Mills, an upscale compound with restaurants and offices. Several national broadcast news channels, including Times Now and ET Now, were also located in the razed building.
