>> The power went out in Disneyland California closing dozens of attractions in the middle of the day. Local media reported the outage started before 11 AM, Wednesday. Guests were escorted off rides that came to a halt including the park's famous Monorail. Posts on social media claimed some guests were stuck inside the Pirates of the Caribbean which stopped moving.
The giant impact averages about 44,000 visitors a day, and holiday weeks are among the busiest times of the year. On twitter, the park said it was working diligently to restore power to the affected areas. Disneyland added rights including that it's a small world holiday were still open to guests.
