>> France is demanding that Britain honor its promise to take in migrant children living in the notorious jungle camp in Calais. The squalid tent city, home to nearly 10,000 asylum seekers that want to reach Britain, is due to be knocked down soon and patience in Paris is wearing thin.
>> There are several hundred isolated minors in Calais who have family in Britain, we are currently establishing a precise list. The British must take their responsibility. We took our responsibility through France's asylum traditions, through our humanitarian duty. Great Britain is also a country of human rights, and they must take their responsibility.
>> It's estimated 1,000 unaccompanied children call this place home. The Red Cross says 178 have been identified as having family ties to the UK and accuse London have dragging its heels to resettle them. This is one of several spots in Western Europe with huge buildups of migrants. The people here have mostly fled war in places like Syria, Afghanistan, and Africa.
Now they're in limbo as tension grows between the UK and France over who is responsible for them.
